We are proud to work with schools, colleges, universities, access charities and corporate partners across the UK to achieve our common mission of increasing access to top third universities for underrepresented state school students, and hence diversity in future workforces.
By connecting participating schools with partner universities and organisations, we facilitate the development of strong relationships which provides schools with the insight and resources to best support able, ambitious students, while providing students the opportunity to improve their knowledge and understanding of the range of opportunities available to them.
We believe that the best way to promote equality of opportunity and achieve systemic change is to bring together all stakeholders so that we can gain a clear view of the landscape and the barriers that are faced by young people from underrepresented backgrounds, and work together to address those barriers. We do this via collaborating with educational bodies, other third sector organisations and future employers. Our activities include:
A key part of our work is the delivery of the Elephant Access Programme. Our Elephant Access Programme is designed to provide a long-term, cohesive intervention that brings together top third universities, non-selective state schools, relevant charity partners and conscientious employers. Together, we strive to bring diversity to tomorrow’s top universities and workforces.
